Josh Morgan

BS Exercise Science

 

 

Josh joined our Moore team in May 2010 as a Personal Trainer.  Josh Graduated from Sacred Heart University in the spring of 2010 where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. 

While completing his degree, Josh interned under the New York Knicks Strength and Conditioning Coaches enhancing his practical experience within the Human Performance field.  The internship emphasized stability and postural control, as well as speed, power, and agility.  At Athletes Performance Zone, Josh worked as the Assistant Trainer leading the athletes through a sport specific warm-up and teaching the athletes the Olympic Lifts and their progressive exercises.  Josh also worked at Sport and Orthopedic Physical Therapy as a Physicians Care Assistant.  Working at the clinic Josh was able to gather a wealth of knowledge in a rehabilitation setting. 

Last summer Josh also completed Officer Candidate School for the United States Marine Corps.  The US Marine Corps trained, screened and evaluated his ability to lead a group of men under stressful situations.

Josh‘s desire is to help individuals of all ages reach their fitness goals and to prevent and reduce any chance of injury.   Josh feels he plays a vital role in his client’s lives because he understands that for some it is a life changing experience.

Josh is passionate about trying new things.  He is constantly educating himself and surrounding himself with various athletics to better himself as a strength coach.  He enjoys running and working out, meeting new people, and hanging out with family and friends.
