Josh Morgan, CSCS, BS, Exercise Science

Josh joined Moore in May 2010 as a Personal Trainer. Josh Graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He is studying for his Masters in Exercise Science and Nutrition.

At the Andrews Institute Josh assisted with the rehabilitation and performance for wounded service members with a variety of injuries; most of which were combat related. Josh also shadowed elite performance specialists from Athletes Performance while working with the military mentorship program. The sole purpose of the military mentorship was to teach US Special Operations units proper technique, exercise utilization, nutrition, and education.

At the Andrews Institute, Josh also completed a study on whole-body vibration and its effects on power and flexibility using a Power Plate™. The study is soon to be published and Josh will have first authorship.

During his undergraduate degree Josh also completed an internship with the New York Knicks Strength and Conditioning Coaches. The internship emphasized stability and postural control as well as speed, power, and agility.

Josh completed Officer Candidate School for the US Marine Corps. The US Marine Corps trained, screened and evaluated his ability to lead a group of men under stressful situations. He also observed a military mentorship program which teaches US Special Ops units proper technique, exercise utilization, nutrition & education.

Josh‘s desire is to help individuals of all ages reach their fitness goals and to prevent and reduce any chance of injury. He enjoys running and working out, meeting new people, and hanging out with family and friends.
