Lindsay Richard, DPT

Lindsay joined the Moore team in May 2010 as a staff physical therapist.  She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University at which time she received The Victor Vaughan Physical Therapy Legislative Service Award for legislative service and political action advocacy in the profession of physical therapy.  While studying for her doctorate, Lindsay worked as a physical therapy aide at Amity Physical therapy in Woodbridge, CT and Integrated Rehab Services in Wilton, CT.  Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut.

Lindsay gained valuable experience during her clinical affiliations at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, New Haven, CT; Bridgeport Hospital:  Burn Unit (Acute Care); U. S. Coast Guard Academy (Outpatient Ortho/Sports) in New London, CT; and Madison House (Sub-acute Rehab) in Madison, CT.  Lindsay takes pleasure in working with patients toward their goals to improve their function.  Her areas of special interest are orthopedics/sports, burn and wound care, and pediatrics.

Lindsay was born and raised in Connecticut and currently lives in Norwalk.  She enjoys playing tennis and golf recreationally, traveling and photography.
