Lisa recently joined the Moore team as a staff Physical Therapist, though Lisa is not new to the Moore Center. She worked as a physical therapy aide while completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University and we are happy to have her back. Prior to becoming a DPT, Lisa earned a BS in Exercise Science at Sacred Heart.
Lisa gained valuable experience during her clinical affiliations at Sports Plus Physical Therapy in Summerville, SC, Louisiana State University Health and Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA, Waveny Care Center in New Canaan, CT and Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT.
Lisa hopes to develop an expertise in wound care and feels that the life long learning environment at The Moore Center will help her achieve her goals. Lisa looks forward to building on her knowledge through patient and co worker interaction. She especially enjoys having an active role in our client’s healing process.
Lisa is able to relate to our clients on a number of levels, she is compassionate and a good listener and like many of our clients enjoys snow sports, rollerblading, and having an active outdoor life.
