Nicholas Salis, DPT, ATC

 

 

Nick joined the Moore Harvard Avenue Team in June of 2011 as a Staff Physical Therapist.

 

He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Sacred Heart University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he played four years of football.

 

Nick’s experience has included work as a certified athletic trainer in both the high school and outpatient settings in Dutchess County, NY as well as right here in Connecticut.  His clinical physical therapy affiliation took place at Proaxis Therapy Spine Center in Greenville, SC where he had advanced training in treating neck and back pain; NY Presbyterian Hospital; Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT and Laurel Woods Rehabilitation East Haven, CT. 

 

Nick’s special areas of interest are treating both active individuals and athletes using a mix of manual therapy and functional movement, as well as treating patients with neck and back pain. He enjoys helping people get their lives back in order.

 

Outside of the work environment, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, training for triathlons, and to cook.  His favorite season is the fall as he is an avid football fan.
