Athletics have always been an important part of Peggy's life. When it came time to decide on a career path, Peggy knew that she wanted sports to be involved. Athletic Training was a perfect fit.
Peggy graduated with a BS in Human Movement and Sport Science from Sacred Heart University, where she was also a member of the women’s soccer team. Peggy also has a MS from Southern CT State University in Human Performance/Exercise Science. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Connecticut Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Peggy has been with Moore for 8 years; the last 5 years have been spent as the Athletic Trainer for Trinity Catholic High School (Stamford, CT). At Trinity, she is responsible for athletic training coverage of all boys’ and girls’ JV and varsity sports. Athletic training responsibilities include evaluation, prevention, rehabilitation, and acute care of athletic injuries. Peggy is also involved with strength and conditioning of several teams.
Although she never likes to see an athlete sidelined with an injury, Peggy takes a lot of pride in doing her part to help them heal, rehab, and get back to competition. When not at the high school, she aides Moore physical therapists with PT patients.
