THE MOORE TEAM

Brenda Beckmann, DPT

Brenda joined the Moore Team in May of 2008 and works in the Stamford office.  Brenda’s experience as a Physical Therapist and a clinic manager in California and New York makes her uniquely well prepared to serve our clientele.  Brenda earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College and her Doctorate Degree from Boston College.  Brenda’s expertise lies in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine.

J.C. Bender, MSPT
J.C. Bender is a Partner and Physical Therapist at Moore, and is the Director of the Darien office. J.C. first started working for the Moore Center as a PT aide in 1995. He graduated PT school in May 2000 and worked at the Helen Hayes Rehabilitation Hospital until January 2001, in both the Head Injury and Orthopedic departments. J.C. came back to the Moore Center and worked in the Darien office from January 2001 to April 2003. J.C. and his wife, Jessica, relocated to Saratoga Springs, NY, where he worked in an outpatient orthopedic facility until May 2004.

Emily Besson, DPT
Emily is a Physical Therapist in Moore’s Stamford office. She joined the Moore team as an aide in 2003. Emily became a Physical Therapist in 2007. Emily enjoys many aspects of being a Physical Therapist especially the area of orthopedics. Emily is particularly interested in working closely with dancers on rehabilitating and preventing injury.

Greg Besson, MSPT, TSCS
Greg is a Partner and Director of Moore's Physical Therapy Division and works in the Wilton facility. Greg joined Moore in 1993 as an Aide, after successfully completing a Physical Therapy Program at Moore under the care of Craig Wood. Greg earned his Bachelor of Exercise Physiology degree at the University of Connecticut in 1996 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in 1999. He has been a Licensed Physical Therapist with Moore since 1999.

Lisa Cayer, DPT

Lisa recently joined the Moore team as a staff Physical Therapist, though Lisa is not new to the Moore Center.  She worked as a physical therapy aide while completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University and we are happy to have her back. Prior to becoming a DPT, Lisa earned a BS in Exercise Science at Sacred Heart.

Lindsay Richard, DPT

Lindsay joined the Moore team in May 2010 as a staff physical therapist.  She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University at which time she received The Victor Vaughan Physical Therapy Legislative Service Award for legislative service and political action advocacy in the profession of physical therapy.

Noah Citsay, MSPT
Noah works in Moore Darien, as both a staff Physical Therapist and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Noah was drawn to physical therapy by his interest in Kinesiology, and the reward that accompanies aiding in the healing process and facilitating strength and increased functionality in his clients.

Jennifer Cruz, CEAS
Jennifer is Director of Operations for Moore Ergonomics. She joined Moore in 1995 as a Receptionist and has taken on increasingly more challenging opportunities within the company to attain her current position. Jennifer has mastered many of the operational functions of the company, including hardware, software and networking matters, all of which helped make the company’s transition to a new software program seamless.

Phil Denema, DPT, ATC

Phil joined the Moore Center in 2007 as a Physical Therapist in the Wilton facility.  Phil earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT as well as his B.S. in Athletic Training.   While at Sacred Heart, Phil was the Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Volleyball Team.  He also worked with Division 1 men’s and women’s’ athletes in contact and non contact sports.

Erin Dorsey, DPT

 

Erin joined our Moore team in May 2010 as a physical therapist in the Wilton facility.  Since 2007 Erin worked at Moore as a physical therapy aide while completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University.  Erin earned her B.S. in Exercise Science, Summa cum Laude at Sacred Heart University in 2008.

Richard Epstein, MSPT
Rich is a Partner, Director of Moore Stamford and a Physical Therapist who specializes in sports and orthopedic medicine. Rich joined Moore in 1998, and became a partner in 2000. That same year, he and Moore CEO, Bob Moore, founded Moore Ergonomics, a company that offers a variety of services and programs to educate and promote safety in the workplace.

Meet our Massage Therapists!

Joe Esposito, MSPT, CSCS

Joe joined the Moore team in August of 2009 as a Physical Therapist in the Darien office. Joe brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position. He has honed his skills working in an orthopedic and sports medicine center as well as through numerous clinical affiliations. Joe continues to develop an expertise in the treatment and prevention of shoulder and elbow injuries in overhead athletes, as a result of working under the head physical therapist for the New York Mets during his clinical affiliation with the Hospital for Special Surgery’s Sports and Rehabilitation and Performance Center.

Peggy Feldt, MS, ATC/L

Peggy has been with Moore for 9 years; the last 6 years have been spent as the Athletic Trainer for Trinity Catholic High School (Stamford, CT).  At Trinity, she is responsible for athletic training coverage of all boys’ and girls’ JV and varsity sports.  Athletic training responsibilities include evaluation, prevention, rehabilitation, and acute care of athletic injuries.  Peggy graduated with a BS in Human Movement and Sport Science from Sacred Heart University.

Paul H. Landi, HFS, CSPC

Paul is a Certified Health and Fitness Specialist (HFS) and Physical Therapy Aide at Moore. Paul's certifications are from the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Specialist, from the USA Weightlifting Federation as a Certified Sports Performance Coach, and from Pat Etcheberry for Tennis Fitness, Strength and Conditioning.  In addition, Paul holds an Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science. In his role at Moore, Paul provides strength and conditioning services as well as training for sport specific athletes of all ages. He is one of only 61 Etcheberry Certified Tennis Instructors in the world.

Steve Melchionno, MPT, OCS
Steve is a Partner, and has been with Moore since 1994. Steve took a 2-year break to complete an orthopedic internship to better serve our clients. He returns to Moore as a key part of the management team. Like so many of his colleagues, Steve chose the field of physical therapy after recovering from an injury. He wanted the opportunity to help others in the way that he had been helped.

Bob Moore, PT

Bob is the CEO and Founder of Moore, which opened in November 1990.  Bob treats patients in the Darien office and General Electric Corporate Headquarters.  He also serves as an on site Ergonomics Consultant at GE.  In addition to 25 years as a Physical Therapist, Bob is an Adjunct Lecturer at Norwalk Community College, where he teaches Sports Medicine to area coaches.

Josh Morgan

Josh joined our Moore team in May 2010 as a Personal Trainer.  Josh Graduated from Sacred Heart University in the spring of 2010 where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. 

While completing his degree, Josh interned under the New York Knicks Strength and Conditioning Coaches enhancing his practical experience within the Human Performance field.  The internship emphasized stability and postural control, as well as speed, power, and agility.  At Athletes Performance Zone, Josh worked as the Assistant Trainer leading the athletes through a sport specific warm-up and teaching the athletes the Olympic Lifts and their progressive exercises.  Josh also worked at Sport and Orthopedic Physical Therapy as a Physicians Care Assistant.

Andrew Shannon, ATC/L

Andrew joined our Moore team as an Athletic Trainer in June 2010.  Since December 2006 Andrew worked at Moore as a physical therapy aide while completing his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and NEAG School of Education both from the University of Connecticut. Andrew gained valuable experience during his affiliations with UCONN Football, Tolland High School, UCONN Women’s Soccer and Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Andrew enjoys working closely with patients and athletes while they are under the standing orders of a physician. He takes pride in returning athletes to play safely.  He can closely relate to the student-athlete and understands the importance of sports in an athlete’s life.  Andrew enjoys spending time staying active.  He enjoys resistance training, running, and playing basketball, baseball, and football. 


J.P. Signore, CSCS

J.P. is a Personal Trainer at Moore. He brings a lot of knowledge to the job having spent five years working as a Physical Therapy Aide in the Moore clinics. The experience he gained working with the Physical Therapists and their patients helped J.P. prepare for his transition into helping clients prevent injuries and reach their goals as safely as possible.

Keith Vinci, CSCS, PES

Keith Vinci, CSCS, PES, is the Manager of the Fitness Division.  Keith has been a leader in the Sports Performance and Fitness industry for over 10 years. Keith’s passion for fitness is illustrated by the multiple certifications he has earned in addition to a degree in Exercise Science. He has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for Division I programs including the University of Pittsburgh. He has coached several NCAA National Qualifiers, Big East Champions and Canadian National U-19 Women’s Lacrosse Players.

Craig Wood, PT
Craig is the President of Moore, and Physical Therapist in the Wilton facility, focusing on integrated movement — combining manual skills, physical therapy education and exercise to enhance a person’s performance. He joined Moore in 1992 shortly after graduating from Ithaca College. Craig, like many of his colleagues, was drawn to physical therapy after experiencing an injury of his own while playing basketball in high school. He thanks his Physical Therapist for the his quick recovery and return to the court, and for influencing his decision to pursue physical therapy as a career.
