J.C. Bender is a Partner and Physical Therapist at Moore. J.C.
first started working for the Moore
Center as a PT aide in 1995. He
graduated PT school in May 2000
and worked at the Helen Hayes Rehabilitation
Hospital until January 2001, in
both the Head Injury and Orthopedic
departments. J.C. came back to
the Moore Center and worked in
the Darien office from January
2001 to April 2003. J.C. and his
wife, Jessica, relocated to Saratoga
Springs, NY, where he worked in
an outpatient orthopedic facility
until May 2004.

Greg
is a Partner and Director of Moore
Wilton, the company’s
new sports performance, physical
therapy and wellness center.
Greg joined Moore in 1993
as an Aide, after successfully
completing a Physical Therapy
Program at Moore under the
care of Craig Wood. Greg
earned his Bachelor of Exercise
Physiology degree at the
University of Connecticut
in 1996 and a Master of Science
in Physical Therapy from
Sacred Heart University in
1999. He has been a Licensed
Physical Therapist with Moore
since 1999.

2005 and is a Physical Therapist

Peggy
is an Athletic Trainer and
has worked with Moore since
2001. She is currently working
with the Athletic Department
at Trinity Catholic High
School in Stamford, CT. There,
Peggy assists the Athletic
Director and the school’s
coaches to safely and appropriately
condition and train the young
athletes. While injury prevention
is job #1, Peggy also works
with the school’s athletes
on evaluating and treating
injuries. Her goal in all
instances is to ensure that
athletes return to their
sport safely and quickly.

provides strength and conditioning

Gus has
been part of the Moore family
for 10 years. He wears many
hats in the company. He is
the Head Aide and is responsible
for all of our aides in our
five locations. He is also
in charge of keeping our
Darien location running by
making sure that the clinic
is properly equipped with
the necessary supplies and
equipment. With more than
8 years of rehabilitation
experience, he also works
as a personal trainer, certified
through the National Strength
and Conditioning Association.
Gus is also one of the few
who are Etcheberry certified.

Steve is a Partner, Director of Moore at our facility at Bobby Valentine's Sports Academy and has been
with Moore since 1994. Steve took
a 2-year break to complete an orthopedic
internship to better serve our
clients. He returns to Moore as
a key part of the management team.
Like so many of his colleagues,
Steve chose the field of physical
therapy after recovering from an
injury. He wanted the opportunity
to help others in the way that
he had been helped.

CEO and Founder
of Moore, which opened
in November 1990. Bob treats
patients in the Darien and serves
as an on-site Ergonomics
Consultant at GE headquarters
in Fairfield. In addition
to 23 years as a Physical
Therapist, Bob is an Adjunct
Lecturer at Norwalk Community
College, where he teaches
Sports Medicine to area coaches.

Craig
is the President of Moore,
Director of Moore Darien and a Physical Therapist,
focusing on integrated movement — combining
manual skills, physical therapy
education and exercise to
enhance a person’s
performance. He joined Moore
in 1992 shortly after graduating
from Ithaca College. Craig,
like many of his colleagues,
was drawn to physical therapy
after experiencing an injury
of his own while playing
basketball in high school.
He thanks his Physical Therapist
for the his quick recovery
and return to the court,
and for influencing his decision
to pursue physical therapy
as a career.

is Director of Moore in Saratoga County, NY. He joined Moore as a Physical
Therapist in October 2006,
after completing his Master
of Science/Physical Therapy
Degree at Ithaca College
in New York that same year.
Donald is an avid athlete
who enjoys skiing and all
outdoor sports activities.
He chose physical therapy
as his career after experiencing
first hand the value of a
good Physical Therapist – Donald
was injured in high school
and thanks to his Physical
Therapist, he was able to
