Brenda joined the Moore Team in May of 2008 and works in the Stamford office. Brenda’s experience as a Physical Therapist and a clinic manager in California and New York makes her uniquely well prepared to serve our clientele. Brenda earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College and her Doctorate Degree from Boston College. Brenda’s expertise lies in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine.

J.C. Bender is a Partner and Physical Therapist at Moore, and is the Director of the Darien office. J.C.
first started working for the Moore
Center as a PT aide in 1995. He
graduated PT school in May 2000
and worked at the Helen Hayes Rehabilitation
Hospital until January 2001, in
both the Head Injury and Orthopedic
departments. J.C. came back to
the Moore Center and worked in
the Darien office from January
2001 to April 2003. J.C. and his
wife, Jessica, relocated to Saratoga
Springs, NY, where he worked in
an outpatient orthopedic facility
until May 2004.

Emily is a

Emily became a Physical Therapist
in 2007. Emily enjoys many aspects

Phil joined the Moore Center in 2007 as a Physical Therapist in the Wilton facility. Phil earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT as well as his B.S. in Athletic Training. While at Sacred Heart, Phil was the Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Volleyball Team. He also worked with Division 1 men’s and women’s’ athletes in contact and non contact sports.

Joe joined the Moore team in August of 2009 as a Physical Therapist in the Darien office. Joe brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position. He has honed his skills working in an orthopedic and sports medicine center as well as through numerous clinical affiliations. Joe continues to develop an expertise in the treatment and prevention of shoulder and elbow injuries in overhead athletes, as a result of working under the head physical therapist for the New York Mets during his clinical affiliation with the Hospital for Special Surgery’s Sports and Rehabilitation and Performance Center.

Peggy has been with Moore for 9 years; the last 6 years have been spent as the Athletic Trainer for Trinity Catholic High School (Stamford, CT). At Trinity, she is responsible for athletic training coverage of all boys’ and girls’ JV and varsity sports. Athletic training responsibilities include evaluation, prevention, rehabilitation, and acute care of athletic injuries. Peggy graduated with a BS in Human Movement and Sport Science from Sacred Heart University.

Paul is a Certified Health and Fitness Specialist (HFS) and Physical Therapy Aide at Moore. Paul's certifications are from the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Specialist, from the USA Weightlifting Federation as a Certified Sports Performance Coach, and from Pat Etcheberry for Tennis Fitness, Strength and Conditioning. In addition, Paul holds an Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science. In his role at Moore, Paul provides strength and conditioning services as well as training for sport specific athletes of all ages. He is one of only 61 Etcheberry Certified Tennis Instructors in the world.

Steve is a Partner, and has been

a key part of the management team.

Bob is the CEO and Founder of Moore, which opened in November 1990. Bob treats patients in the Darien office and General Electric Corporate Headquarters. He also serves as an on site Ergonomics Consultant at GE. In addition to 25 years as a Physical Therapist, Bob is an Adjunct Lecturer at Norwalk Community College, where he teaches Sports Medicine to area coaches.

Josh joined our Moore team in May 2010 as a Personal Trainer. Josh Graduated from Sacred Heart University in the spring of 2010 where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.
While completing his degree, Josh interned under the New York Knicks Strength and Conditioning Coaches enhancing his practical experience within the Human Performance field. The internship emphasized stability and postural control, as well as speed, power, and agility. At Athletes Performance Zone, Josh worked as the Assistant Trainer leading the athletes through a sport specific warm-up and teaching the athletes the Olympic Lifts and their progressive exercises. Josh also worked at Sport and Orthopedic Physical Therapy as a Physicians Care Assistant.

Andrew joined our Moore team as an Athletic Trainer in June 2010. Since December 2006 Andrew worked at Moore as a physical therapy aide while completing his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and NEAG School of Education both from the University of Connecticut. Andrew gained valuable experience during his affiliations with UCONN Football, Tolland High School, UCONN Women’s Soccer and Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Andrew enjoys working closely with patients and athletes while they are under the standing orders of a physician. He takes pride in returning athletes to play safely. He can closely relate to the student-athlete and understands the importance of sports in an athlete’s life. Andrew enjoys spending time staying active. He enjoys resistance training, running, and playing basketball, baseball, and football.

Keith Vinci, CSCS, PES, is the Manager of the Fitness Division. Keith has been a leader in the Sports Performance and Fitness industry for over 10 years. Keith’s passion for fitness is illustrated by the multiple certifications he has earned in addition to a degree in Exercise Science. He has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for Division I programs including the University of Pittsburgh. He has coached several NCAA National Qualifiers, Big East Champions and Canadian National U-19 Women’s Lacrosse Players.

manual skills, physical therapy
education and exercise to
enhance a person’s
performance. He joined Moore
in 1992 shortly after graduating
from Ithaca College. Craig,
like many of his colleagues,
was drawn to physical therapy
after experiencing an injury
of his own while playing
basketball in high school.
He thanks his Physical Therapist
