Who is at risk of an ergonomic injury?
You may be, if your job requires repetitive motion,
such as prolonged working at a computer, lifting
heavy objects, using a great deal of force or
continuously
working
in an awkward position.
If you think you are at risk
then you, and your employer, would benefit from
an ergonomics program.
Moore Ergonomics
At Moore Ergonomics, we have a team of licensed
physical therapists and certified ergonomic
assessment specialists
(CEAS) ready to help you perform your job safely.
If you’re experiencing physical pain while
doing your job we can identify the cause and
help resolve
it. If you’ve been injured at work, we
work with you both during and after your physical
therapy program
to ensure that when you’re ready to go
back to work, you are educated in proper work
postures
and
given exercises and stretches to keep you physically
well.
Moore Ergonomics Programs for Employees
We conduct Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)
to assess your ability to return to work after
an injury.
Our two-day evaluation and examination is followed
by an extensive report of your physical condition,
documentation your insurance company will
need before you return to work.
We also conduct Work
Conditioning programs, and develop a specific
multi-week regimen to
help
you train physically
to return to work. Being in better physical
condition helps to minimize the chances of
another injury
while improving your overall wellness.
Our
Moore Ergonomics team will also instruct you on
the proper way to physically perform
your job,
from
maintaining the proper posture while sitting
at a desk, learning how to lift heavy objects
without
putting
undue stress or strain on your body, or
finding a more comfortable way to perform a repetitive
motion.
We work with you to ensure you work
safely. |
