Moore Athletic Training

Meet our ATCs

Peggy Feldt and Andrew Shannon

Certified Athletic Trainers are health care professionals who specialize in preventing, recognizing, managing and rehabilitating injuries that result from physical activity.

Certified Athletic Trainers must earn a degree from an accredited athletic training program which includes formal instruction in areas such as injury/illness prevention, first aid and emergency care, assessment of injuries/illnesses, human anatomy and physiology, therapeutic modalities, and nutrition.

Athletic trainers in the secondary school and collegiate settings provide injury prevention and conditioning programs, injury evaluation, prepare athletes for practice and competition, implement treatment and rehabilitation programs for athletes, and provide first response to acute injuries and medical emergencies that take place during competition.

We are proud to have Peggy Feldt, ATC/L as the Athletic Trainer at

Trinity Catholic High School, Stamford.

  • Peggy is also part of our Darien staff where she brings her talents to our Physical Therapy and Fitness clients with her one-on-one Full Body Stretch service.  She is your answer if you are among the many who know they should stretch, but don't.

We are proud to have Andrew Shannon, ATC/L as part of the Stamford Youth Athletics program, providing his Athletic Training services at youth sports games.

  • Andrew is also part of our Wilton staff where his is the Head Physical Therapy Aide and is part of a business develpment team focused on bringing an exciting new home exercise program to our clients.

“The athletes and athletic department staff at Trinity Catholic High School have received extraordinary service from the team at Moore. Their on-site athletic trainer helps our coaches properly condition and train our athletes, and provides instruction on how to prevent injuries from occurring. We know we can count on Moore to always do right by our athletes – whether its helping them improve their performance, physical condition or return to their sport quickly and safely following an injury.”
