DARIEN, CT – Clients of the Moore Center will start to see a new look at the company’s Stamford, Darien and Fairfield offices as Moore introduces its new branding campaign. Moore, a regional physical therapy, sports performance and training, health and wellness center has redesigned its logo, added a tagline and will be rolling out its new look on signage, brochures and other materials beginning in the New Year. The new look, which was created by Darien based 341 Studios, sets the stage for the highly anticipated March opening of Moore’s newest center in Wilton. The new 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility will be home to the company’s youth and adult sports training, performance and physical therapy center in Wilton.
“Our new Wilton location will allow us to greatly expand our sports performance training, corporate ergonomic, nutrition and wellness programs,” said Bob Moore, founder and partner at Moore. “We realized pretty quickly that to effectively communicate our full scope of services and programs, while continuing to support our strong physical therapy practice, required a new brand identity. The challenge was to find a way to inform people who know us only as physical therapy professionals that our skills and capabilities extend to nutrition, sports performance and training.”
After 16 years of providing rehabilitative and injury prevention services to thousands of clients in Fairfield County, it’s no wonder Moore is perhaps best known locally for its expertise in physical therapy. However, the company has provided sports training, fitness training, nutrition and ergonomics programs for a number of years in its Darien, Stamford and Fairfield offices. In fact, many of the 14 licensed physical therapists at Moore have certifications in other areas, including nutrition and sports training. Complimenting the expertise of the physical therapists are three certified athletic trainers, strength and conditioning specialists and employees with health fitness certification, all of who are on staff. Additionally, two Moore employees are Etcheberry Certified Tennis Trainers, two of only 13 in the world to attain this status.
The challenge with redesigning the brand identity was to visually elevate the company’s sports performance and training, ergonomics, nutrition and wellness capabilities while retaining Moore’s solid foundation in the physical therapy field. And that’s where 341 Studios came in.
“The corporate identity work we did for Moore conveys not only what Moore does, but speaks to the company that it is – approachable, fun and energetic, with a vast knowledge and expertise in human motion,” said Felicia Rubinstein, managing partner at 341 Studios. “We used what is inherently unique about the professionals at Moore, their ‘whole body’ approach to working with their clients, and articulated that in a tagline and brought it to life visually in the new logo.”
The fact that the company is readying a 10,000 square foot state of the art sports performance and training center for a March opening in Wilton was also a key driver behind the timing of the new branding campaign. The Wilton Center will be home to physical therapy facilities as well as sports training and performance facilities, including Field Turf, a multi-sport flooring, locker rooms, cardio-fitness and personal training areas. There will also be a team room, for specialized group training and fitness programs.
“The new logo speaks volumes about what we have to offer, both to physical therapy clients as well as adult and youth athletes looking to improve and enhance their performance,” said Bob Moore. “We’re looking forward to many years – and many uses, of this logo.”
Moore Center is a locally owned regional provider of physical therapy, athletic training, fitness training, corporate ergonomics, nutrition and wellness programs. The Center has a 16-year history in serving the needs of thousands of Fairfield County residents. The Center currently has three locations, Stamford, Darien and Fairfield (Wilton is scheduled to open in March), staffed by 14 licensed physical therapists, 3 certified athletic trainers, 12 physical therapy aides and 15 members of its services support team.
