Phil Denema, DPT, ATC

Phil has been with Moore Center since 2007 and is a Physical Therapist and PT Manager in the Wilton facility.

Phil earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT as well as his B.S. in Athletic Training. While at Sacred Heart, Phil was the Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Volleyball Team. He also worked with Division 1 men’s basketball, lacrosse, football, and wrestling as well as Division 1 Women's softball and cross country.

Phil’s clinical affiliations include Integrated Rehab Services, St. Francis Hospital, Sports Physical Therapy of New York and the Norwalk Hospital Rehabilitation Unit.

Phil enjoys helping his patients get back to their previous activities, alleviating their pain and helping them feel better overall. Phil is experienced in evaluating and treating all orthopedic and neuromuscular injuries and diseases. His area of expertise is in the rehabilitation of sports and orthopedic injuries with a special interest in treating headaches and the spine as well as rehabbing endurance and multisport athletes.

Phil is working towards his Certification in Spinal Manipulation.

Outside of work, Phil enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also trains for and participates in triathlons and endurance races.
